Exotec signs 12-year lease with BMG Group. The real estate company is building “Imaginarium” for the French unicorn of the industrial sector.
BMG Group, a real estate company specializing in commercial real estate, will begin construction of Exotec’s new “Imaginarium” headquarters in Wasquehal, northern France, in early fall 2022. Exotec and BMG Group have agreed on a 12-year lease for the 24,996 m² building. The official handover of the building is planned for early 2024.
Imaginarium meets Exotec’s growth and recruitment needs by bringing the people of its various disciplines together through its architecture. It will also provide up to 1,000 jobs, with 350 new people being hired in 2022 alone. Exotec, currently based in Croix, has decided to locate in Wasquehal, Hauts-de-France, a region where the company has been based since its beginnings and where it is now one of the industrial pioneers.
Romain Moulin, CEO and co-founder of Exotec said: “The decision to go with BMG was obvious, because their proposal corresponded exactly with our vision for our future premises. An open, scalable building that brings together all of Exotec’s expertise in a single location, allowing all of our manufacturing and R&D teams to work together. Imaginarium is the ideal location in the Hauts-de-France region, where our company grew up, to welcome our new employees and to continue the Exotec culture that has allowed the company to grow and succeed on the international stage.”
