Landshut, 24 July 2024 – Exotec®, a global designer and supplier of robotic warehouse solutions, announces the opening of a branch office in Graz. This office, under the management of Markus Schlotter, Managing Director Central Europe, will enable Exotec to get closer to its customers in Austria, but also to seize new growth opportunities in neighbouring markets.
The second largest city in the Alpine republic offers Exotec a number of advantages: as well as having a highly skilled workforce and many logistics specialists, the university town benefits from its geographical proximity to neighbouring countries to the south and east, as well as good transport links to these regions, making Graz an obvious choice.
Located at the heart of the University of Graz’s innovation and start-up centre, the new office will bring together both the sales and operations teams. In addition, the geographical proximity to customers in the region will considerably improve local service capacity.
‘The opening of this new site in Graz is a logical consequence of the expansion of our market in Central Europe. Austria, and Styria in particular, is a nerve centre for leading manufacturers of intralogistics solutions – more so than anywhere else in Europe. ’, says Markus Schlotter, Managing Director Central Europe at Exotec. ‘In addition, the density of universities and grandes écoles is very high, so this new location gives us access to a significant talent pool.’
‘The campus is located close to the university, in the heart of the city – and Graz, and Styria as a whole, offer a very good quality of life,’ adds Benjamin Putz, Senior Sales Executive for Central Europe. ‘Thanks to the sports facilities and public transport, this location is ideal for both the employer and the employees.’
