In bins or boxes, Skypod® robots are capable of carrying up to 30 kg.
The Skypod system natively supports the following item identification methods: 1-D: EAN8, EAN13, UPC, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, ITF, Interleaved 2 of 5, CIP Pharmacode, Plessey code 2-D: QR Code, DataMatrix, Aztec Code. Physical RFID support can be added using a specific device adapted and installed at the station level.
Our software, Deepsky, is a powerful WES (Warehouse Execution System). It is fully configurable and can be adapted to any interface: third-party machine WCS (Warehouse Control System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
The racking of the Skypod system is designed to be compliant with FM Global standards for Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) concerning fire risks, to support the storage of Class 1, 2, 3, 4, and plastic commodities (refer to FM Global datasheet 8-9). For other types of commodities, a study can be conducted in collaboration with your commercial unit and insurance company.
All items can be reached in less than 2 minutes, so we do not need to perform a Pareto analysis. Our storage is random. What is the average deployment time for a project?
The average installation time for a Skypod system is 9 to 12 months.
We can achieve a maximum of 600 picks per hour with the Skypicker depending on the type of order and the number of items per order line. As for the manual station, we are around 400 picks per hour.
Our storage racks can reach up to 12 meters high.
Our manual stations can be supplemented with a device called Order Mover, allowing the preparation of up to 4 orders simultaneously directly into their final container if it is compatible.
Bins can be divided into 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 compartments using removable plastic separators. When using compartments to divide the bins, items that are commonly ordered together can be placed in the same bin to further increase overall efficiency.
