Exotec is once again fulfilling its growth ambitions with the opening of new offices in Lyon. The company is planning to recruit several dozen people in software R&D.

Lyon, 17 October 2023 – Exotec, a global designer and supplier of robotic solutions for warehouses, today announced the forthcoming opening of new premises in Lyon and confirmed its recruitment and expansion ambitions.
Lyon, a centre for technological innovation
Exotec chose Lyon as the location for its new offices because of the attractiveness and dynamism of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This French metropolis offers a favourable ecosystem for innovation and technological development, as well as a particularly rich pool of engineering schools. Lyon stands out for its strategic location and its connectivity with the north of France, particularly Lille. This is a crucial advantage for promoting exchanges between offices and disseminating Exotec’s corporate culture.

Lyon, an attractive employment area
As part of its recruitment plan to double its workforce by 2023, Exotec is looking to attract the best talent and has announced the opening of 25 RD positions in Lyon in 2024, mainly for developers. By 2025, the company plans to recruit more than a hundred profiles in the Lyon region.

In addition to the RD teams, the operational teams in Western Europe will also be gradually relocating to the new premises, to ensure a presence as close as possible to customers in the region. Around ten new positions will be created in the near future, particularly in project management.
